Australia – Where it all began
It all began with the love of cars, having been exposed to the Australian car scene back in the mid 2000’s saw owner Tharindu Peiris been able to own sort after JDM cars from the likes of MK4 Supra’s, Skyline r32gtrs to Silvia 180SX – been his all time favorite. 

It was the 180SX that really opened his eyes up to the tuning scene back in Australia where the mighty SR20 was tweaked and he was able to gain first hand experience of what parts worked and what didn’t. From tuning to Garrett turbo upgrades Tharindu was able to feel & learn it first hand from his trusted suppliers in down under.

Sri Lanka – Time to spice up Sri Lankan car culture
In 2010 Tharindu arrived into his home country Sri Lanka packed with the knowledge and was ready to make a change to Sri Lankan Car Culture. The car community accepted him with wide open arms as he was able to channel the knowledge through his advice and example of his own personal cars that he’s owned here from the likes of Skylines, Silvia 180SX, Subaru STI’s & Silvia S15. 

Quickly local boys started coming to him for parts & advice, that was when SuperStreet.lk was born in 2011. Since then Tharindu has been able to develop relationships with respected local shops & individuals for tuning, fabrication & maintenance which allowed him to hand pick each and every part needed for a specific build, then deliver it to the client or shops he closely works with to get the job done right, whilst earning a reputation for importing 100% genuine products into the local market at very reasonable prices & been part of many head turning builds from SuperStreets R32GTR punching out 615AWHP on 95 octane, SuperStreets Evo 6.5 Street & Drag Car, Chathu’s & Isira’s SuperStreet Sti ver 9’s, Sasha’s Turbo EK4 SIR, Chulanka’s Drag spec Starlet Glanza & Street GT, along with a host of Evo’s & STi’s.
